What are the days and hours that I may access my storage unit?

6am – 10pm, 7 days a week

What are the office hours?

Office hours are by appointment only. We’re available for such appointments Monday through Friday, 9am to 8pm, Saturday, 10am to 1pm.   To make arrangements or for availability outside of these regular hours, call 828-346-LARK (5275) or email

 What may I store or use the unit for?

You may store a wide range of items, however there are limits:

Tenants may NOT store anything or explosive such as a gas, anti-freeze, oil, fireworks, ammunition etc.

Tenants may NOT store any hazardous materials or waste such as construction debris, tires, batteries etc.

Tenants may NOT store any type of animal, dead or alive

Tenants may NOT store anything with a noxious smell, controlled substances or stolen items

Tenants may NOT use the space for sleeping, gatherings, direct sales, or flea markets

Tenants may NOT use the space as an office or work space to paint, sand, use power tools or play musical instruments


What documents do I need to provide so that I may rent a storage unit?

Drivers License

Can I rent a storage unit over the phone or do I need to visit the facility in person?

You may rent directly easily and securely from our website, over the phone, or in person by appointment if you care to see they space first.

Do I have to sign a lease or can I rent a unit on a month-to-month basis?

Our leases are on a month to month basis and do require a signature upon renting. The signing can be done electronically online or in person.

How far in advance can I reserve a unit?

When units are available, we accept reservations as far in advance as you like.  However, tenants must contact us within one week of their desired move in date to make move-in arrangements.  Otherwise, we will cancel the reservation making it available for someone else.
